The College teaches English to Japanese students in a “traditional” university setting.
The size and function of the different buildings in the College required many different structural solutions: Plain, reinforced and diaphragm brickwork for the outer walls; high strength timber, trussed rafters and glulam beams; simple steel beams and three dimensional pre-stressed composite steel/timber roofs.
