Partnership
We have now worked on four projects to increase the library accommodation.
Most of the structural work has been new-build, with some internal modifications
of the existing building.
The new structures use substantial solid masonry without movement joints,
to replicate the original building, used as load bearing elements where
possible.
The internal structures are conventional reinforced concrete framed floors,
with structural steel-framed pitched roofs. |
